The River Bible Institute is designed for those who would like to pursue an
in-depth study of the Bible and experience the glory of God.
Bachelor of Arts in Ministry
The Foundational Year is where students will gain foundational values, knowledge, skills and impartation that will help equip, shape, mold and expand students to become active participants in God’s work as it relates to their calling.
The River Bible Institute’s year two and three was created as a focused training ground for those who sense a call into the Five-Fold ministry of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.
Students enrolled in this program will train for ministry, pursue an intense study of the Bible, enhance their present skills, gain a deeper understanding of the things of God, learn how to better relate to people, and obtain invaluable instruction on Faith, the Holy Spirit, Bible Prophecy and other theological areas.
In the third year, in conjunction with offered courses, students will receive hands-on training from all department heads at The River at Tampa Bay Church to obtain working knowledge of day-to-day operations in a church and ministry setting.
MSP is a RBI lab designed to assist students in the process of focusing their educational and spiritual goals. Students will experience various ministry departments each week after class hours to learn how a successful ministry should flow and function.
Each student will experience the joy of leading others to Christ and be equipped to effectively impact the world around them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The River Prayer & Care center receives calls from around the world daily from people needing healing, salvation, financial breakthroughs and more. All first year students will be required to attend and participate in one call center lab every week.
All 2nd & 3rd year students will be placed in one of the many departments the River Church has to offer where they will alternate serving for The Main Event & the Stand services.
