RU has met all local, state, and federal building, health and safety codes. Initial building codes have been completed and sanitation and fire inspections are conducted yearly. Security personnel are a part of the staff of The River at Tampa Bay Church and serve to keep the facility and its contents safe. An on-site custodial staff works to ensure cleanliness.

RU parking area provides ample parking for faculty, staff, and students. The lighted parking area contains approximately 1700 parking spaces and surrounds the college.

No disabled vehicle can be kept or left on the RU campus.

No vehicles can be left on the RU campus unattended unless the student is attending a ministry event. A student must be on campus if their vehicle is parked on campus. After one warning, the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Overnight parking will only be permitted if a student is attending a ministry event and needs to leave a vehicle on the campus. Permission from the Dean and The River at Tampa Bay Church security must be obtained to leave any vehicle on campus parking. Vehicles will be properly allocated and keys must be left with security. After one warning, the vehicle will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Tampa has an established public transportation system with regular bus service throughout the city.
