River University provides quality Spirit-filled biblical instruction, academic training, and practical education to men and women called into the Five-Fold Ministry, worship, media, governmental leadership, or the culinary industry.
River University first opened with its charter class in 1997 as River Bible Institute.
Since 1997, River University has seen over 5,000 graduates come through our Tampa campus.
We have multiple International Affiliate Schools across the world which have seen over 5,000 graduates.
Instead of a traditional cap & gown, students who graduate from River University now receive a custom RU Blazer at graduation.
Our programs are designed to train men and women to carry out God's will on earth. It's a place where the Word of God and the Holy Spirit come together to transform lives, birth ministries, and equip individuals to fulfill their God-given call.
At River University you'll have the opportunity to learn how to win souls, host your own outreach, write/preach sermons, help in our prayer & care center and more.
Through our Ministry of Help and Ministry Service Practicum, students will receive hands-on training from various ministry departments to learn how a successful ministry should flow and function.
